SACRAMENTO, CA —Oct. 22, 2025—SchoolStatus, the leading provider of K–12 solutions for attendance, family engagement, and student data insights, has once again been named to the GSV 150, the annual list recognizing the world’s most transformational growth companies in education.
The 2026 GSV 150 evaluated more than 3,000 private and public education companies worldwide using a proprietary rubric assessing revenue scale, growth, user reach, geographic diversification, and margin profile. Collectively, the selected companies represent more than $50 billion in annual revenue, reach 3 billion learners, and are driving innovation across every stage of learning, from early education to workforce readiness. The majority of companies are in the K-12 sector (53%) and are based in the U.S. (60%).
“We’re honored to be recognized for the second year in a row alongside such a remarkable group of innovators,” said Dr. Kara Stern, Director of Education for SchoolStatus. “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to helping districts act earlier, reach every family, and focus on what matters most—student success.”
SchoolStatus is trusted by thousands of districts across all 50 states, reaching more than 22 million students with data-driven solutions that help educators see what matters, act with speed, and stay focused on students.
The SchoolStatus Attend product, recognized by Tech & Learning as one of the Best Tools for Back to School 2025, helps districts predict attendance risks within the first 60 days of school, automate outreach in families’ home languages, and foster positive school cultures through proactive, multilingual communication.
Additionally, the nationwide Mission: Attendance initiative provides free, monthly resources to help educators address chronic absenteeism with proven strategies and practical tools, underscoring SchoolStatus’s leadership in tackling one of education’s most urgent challenges.
“The most meaningful innovations are those that make a measurable difference for students and staff,” said Dr. Stern. “We’re proud that our work helps schools improve attendance and communication while giving educators time back to focus on teaching and relationships.”
SchoolStatus partners with educators to transform student data into actions that improve attendance, strengthen family engagement, and support student achievement from PreK to graduation.
In the 2024–25 school year, SchoolStatus partner districts achieved chronic absenteeism rates nearly 3% below the national average, demonstrating how systematic approaches to data, communication, and intervention can drive sustained improvement across schools.
The ASU+GSV Summit is the premier global convening for entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, educators, and policymakers transforming the $8 trillion education and skills sector. Launched in 2010, the Summit is now in its 17th year, drawing more than 7,000 attendees annually. Its mission, that all people deserve equal access to the future, is driven by the belief that scaled innovation across “PreK to Gray” learning is essential to unlocking opportunity at scale.
