Now, all two-way messages can be translated into more than 130 languages. Families can read and respond in their home language. And no matter what language they use, you’ll always be able to view their messages in the language of your choice.

This update ensures that language is never a barrier to partnering with families to improve student attendance. 

What’s New in SchoolStatus Forms & Flows

Back-to-school season comes with a flurry of forms, approvals, and administrative tasks. That’s why we launched a brand-new mobile app, making it easy for parents to complete forms on the go (even during back-to-school shopping) and giving school administrators real-time visibility into form completion.

A Redesigned Mobile App for Staff and Families

Why it matters: Help busy families fill out back-to-school forms on the go and give school staff access to all of the information they need to empower a new group of students at their fingertips.

The newly reimagined SchoolStatus Forms & Flows mobile app is now available on iOS and Android platforms, making it faster and easier for staff and families to manage form tasks on the go.

Smore + SchoolStatus Connect: A Smarter Newsletter Integration

Why it matters: Share beautifully designed Smore newsletters in Connect and update them as needed to ensure families always have the most up-to-date information. 

Last year, we integrated the beloved school newsletter tool, Smore, with SchoolStatus Connect. But this year, we’ve made it way better! You can embed your Smore newsletter directly into SchoolStatus Connect announcements, and here’s the magic: every time you update your newsletter, it automatically updates in the feed, too. Typo? Change in location for an event? No problem – just update it in Smore, and the new version automatically shows up in Connect—no need to resend to correct a mistake. 

Connectivity Status: No More Guessing Why Messages Go Unanswered

Why it matters: When a message can’t be delivered, you’ll know why.

If a parent’s contact information is outdated or disconnected, Connect now makes that clear in the contact record, allowing you to follow up, resolve the issue, and maintain communication. No more wondering why a message got ghosted.

What’s New in SchoolStatus Boost

A new school year brings fresh opportunities to invest in teacher development, and this year, it’s easier than ever.

SchoolStatus Boost now includes personal dashboards for teachers, a global view for district administrators, and new calendar integrations. Together, these updates allow everyone to stay informed on teacher development.

With the new User Profile feature in Boost, teachers can take control of their development with an easy-to-read dashboard that they can access at any time. A Bird’s Eye View on Teacher Development for School and District Administrators

The new admin dashboard shows everything you need to know about teacher evaluations, observations, and development for the whole district or school on a single screen. You can see form progress to get a quick read on how teachers are progressing through your district’s process, check what percentage of next steps are scheduled or in progress, and learn how staff members are trending toward goal completion. 

With data at your fingertips, you can take quick action. Seeing that most of your teachers have achieved their goals? Send a newsletter out celebrating progress! Noticing that they’re around enough observations scheduled? Reach out to Principals and offer a hand. 

A New Integrated Calendar with Support for Google and Microsoft

SchoolStatus Boost works as the hub for everything teacher development in a district. 

The new calendar integration makes managing even the most complex teacher development process a breeze. Add events to your Google or Microsoft calendar like normal, and then select which ones to copy over to SchoolStatus Boost. Events copied to the platform are viewable by school and district admins and the teacher associated with the event.
