🚀 Curious what we released to celebrate the back-to-school season? Check out those updates.

This school year, we’re wholly focused on helping those who help students succeed. That includes families, educators, administrators, and everyone in between. With five different products, there are numerous new features to announce and brand-new ways to empower schools and districts.

Take a look below to see everything we’ve shipped, when it launched, and how it helps you.

SchoolStatus Attend

SchoolStatus Attend helps you create a comprehensive attendance program. Turn disparate data from your SIS into actionable insights, send automated attendance interventions to students who qualify, and create a positive school climate with positive campaigns and mailers.

This year, we’re making it even easier to track important attendance data and get kids back to class. Here’s what’s new:

Get a Head Start on Preventing Chronic Absenteeism

Launched: October 1, 2025

Introducing Early Warning Insights, a new feature designed to help you identify which students are most at risk of becoming chronically absent by the end of the year. Using data from the first 60 instructional days, the system analyzes attendance patterns and flags students who may need additional support. After the 60th day, you’ll see a list of flagged students directly on your dashboard, along with notes on their student cards. With this early visibility, you can step in quickly to reverse attendance trends before they become long-term issues. Whether it’s sending a two-way message, scheduling a conference, or collaborating with teachers, Early Warning Insights equips you with the knowledge to take proactive steps that prevent chronic absenteeism and keep students on track.

Log Concerns During Conferences

Launched: August 29, 2025

SchoolStatus Attend makes managing attendance conferences easy. You can schedule conferences, notify parents, and log what happens in one place.

Now you can track issues—like transportation problems or academic struggles—right in the conferencing module. This helps you maintain clear records, understand what’s keeping students from school, and build data that drives district-wide action.

SchoolStatus Boost

SchoolStatus Boost includes two separate modules that both help you prioritize teacher development. Organize instructional coaching and ensure it’s aligned with district goals in SchoolStatus Boost: Coach. Deliver timely feedback while saving time on observations and evaluations with SchoolStatus Boost: Inspire.

Here’s what’s new:

New in SchoolStatus Boost: Coach
Customize Event Titles in the Boost Calendar

Launched: October 3, 2025

Previously, event titles used generic labels like “Classroom Observation.” For coaches working across multiple schools and teachers, that could make calendars feel repetitive and harder to navigate. Now, you can name your events however you’d like—while still selecting the event type from a dropdown for accurate tracking.

This update gives you full control over your calendar’s display, making it easier to scan your schedule at a glance and organize it in a way that works best for you. See how it works.

Support Teachers Today While Planning for Tomorrow

Launched: September 9, 2025

We’ve added a new Insights button to User Profiles. With it, instructional coaches can move from the User Profile view—which shows active goals, scheduled next steps, and recently submitted forms—to the Insights view, which highlights how a teacher is progressing toward goals. This quick switch between views helps coaches balance immediate teacher support with potential future coaching opportunities.

Save Time by Duplicating Coach Responsibility Events

Launched: September 9, 2025

Keeping track of recurring coaching responsibilities—like daily check-ins or weekly planning—used to take a lot of manual effort. Now, instructional coaches can create an event once and duplicate it on a daily or weekly basis, ensuring activities like common planning are always captured accurately.

New in SchoolStatus Boost: Inspire
Balance Day-to-Day Support with Long-Term Growth

Launched: September 9, 2025

We’ve added a new Insights button to User Profiles. With it, school and district leaders can move from the User Profile view—which shows active goals, scheduled next steps, and recently submitted forms—to the Insights view, which highlights how a teacher is progressing toward district-level goals. This quick switch between views helps leaders balance immediate teacher support with longer-term development priorities.

SchoolStatus Connect

SchoolStatus Connect combines student data—like assessment, behavior, and attendance—with robust communication tools, making it easy to reach families all at once, strengthen classroom communities, and deliver data-informed messages that spark meaningful action.

This year, we’ve added quite a bit to the platform, including the ability to:

Create a Welcoming Environment for Every Family

Launched: September 24, 2025

We’ve made updates to some of the terminology throughout SchoolStatus Connect. Families will notice that:

  • “My Family” is now “My Students & Contacts”
  • “My Children” is now “My Students”
  • “Co-parents” is now “Contacts”

We hope that this updated language will ensure every family feels represented when they log on to engage with the educators in your district.

Always Know Which Student a Contact Belongs To

Launched: September 24, 2025

When you’re contacting multiple families in a single school day, it can be hard to remember which family members are associated with which of your students. To make it easier, every parent or guardian is now clearly labeled with their student’s name—so instead of just “Penny Sanders,” you’ll see “Penny Sanders (Emily)”, eliminating the potential for any mix-ups.

Manage Updates to User Profiles in a Snap

Launched: September 23, 2025

SchoolStatus Connect already integrates with your SIS. But, every once in a while, a user may need to request an update to their profile. Now, users with the user management permissions will get a daily email that explains how many profile update requests they have, along with a handy link to resolve them.

See Student Schedules while Conversing with Parents

Launched: September 2, 2025

We made a change to ensure everyone talking to families has the right information. Now, everyone with permission to contact families can see student schedules. So, no matter who a family is chatting with, they can get the right answers about teachers, classes, and more.
